Paying an invoice

A guide for buyers paying a CoinAvio invoice. You do not need an account.

How do I pay an invoice?

Open the payment link from the store and choose a coin and network that your wallet or exchange supports.

Send exactly the amount shown to the address shown, on the network shown. You can scan the QR code or copy the address and amount. If a memo is shown, include it exactly.

The checkout updates by itself when your payment is detected and confirmed.

Which network should I choose?

Choose the network your wallet or exchange will send on. Some coins, such as USDT, exist on several networks, and an address on one network cannot receive funds sent on another.

The network you send on must match the network shown at checkout exactly. If your wallet does not offer it, go back and choose a different coin or network before sending.

Why do I need to send the exact amount?

An invoice is paid when the amount received reaches the amount shown. If less arrives, the payment is only partial and the order is not completed.

The crypto amount is fixed when you choose a coin and stays the same until the payment window closes, so you do not need to adjust it.

I am paying from an exchange. What should I check?

Exchanges usually deduct a withdrawal fee from the amount you send. Make sure the amount that arrives is the amount shown at checkout, which may mean entering a slightly higher amount on the exchange.

Choose the same network as the checkout. If the exchange delays your withdrawal, check its transaction ID with the exchange.

Why does the checkout show a network fee?

On some networks the checkout adds a network fee to cover blockchain costs. It is shown separately and included in the total you send.

How long do confirmations take?

It depends on the network and how busy it is. Each network needs a set number of confirmations, and the checkout shows the progress.

Your payment counts if it is included on the blockchain before the deadline, even if the confirmations finish afterwards.

Can I close the checkout page?

Yes. Once your payment has been sent, confirmation continues even if you close the page. Keep the invoice reference shown at checkout and your transaction hash in case you need them later.

Do not send a second payment while the first one is being confirmed.

Payment problems

What to do when a payment did not go as planned.

I sent the wrong coin or used the wrong network

If you sent a different coin that CoinAvio supports to the invoice address, it is credited to the merchant in that coin, but the invoice is not completed. Contact the merchant.

Tokens we do not support and coins sent on a different network may not be detected. Recovery is manual, not guaranteed and sometimes impossible. Contact support with the invoice ID and transaction hash.

I paid less than the amount due

While the payment window is open, the checkout shows the remaining amount. Send only that remainder, on the same network.

If the window closes first, the invoice becomes underpaid: the partial amount goes to the merchant, but the order is not marked as paid. Contact the merchant, who can accept the payment, ask you to complete it or arrange a refund.

I paid more than the amount due

The invoice is paid and the excess is credited to the merchant. Ask the merchant to return the difference.

My payment says it is under review

Some payments are checked before they are credited to the merchant. The payment has been received; do not send it again.

When the review clears, the payment is credited and the store is notified as usual. If the checkout says the payment could not be accepted, contact the merchant.

How do refunds work?

Refunds come from the merchant, not from CoinAvio, and blockchain payments cannot be reversed. Contact the merchant with your invoice ID, transaction hash and a wallet address you control for the refund.

How do I contact support about a payment?

Use the contact form or email support@coinavio.com. Include the invoice ID, transaction hash, coin, network and amount. We can confirm what we received and help locate a payment, but refunds are decided by the merchant.

For merchants

Getting approved, verifying your site, fees and withdrawals.

How does merchant approval work?

Create an account and verify your email address. Then submit your business details in the dashboard: business or store name, website and what you sell.

We review every application before live payments are enabled and may ask for more information. Verifying your site's domain speeds up the review. After approval, create API keys or connect a plugin.

How do I verify my domain?

Add your domain in Dashboard → Sites, then prove you control it in one of three ways: a DNS TXT record, a meta tag on your homepage, or a verification file at /.well-known/coinavio-verify.txt. The dashboard shows the exact record, tag or file contents.

This also works on hosted panel platforms that let you edit DNS records or add custom code to the page head. A verified domain is needed to send buyers back to your site after a live payment, and it speeds up merchant review.

What are the fees?

The processing fee is 0% for the first six months after merchant approval. After that, the rate configured for your account applies; it is shown in your dashboard, and changes are announced in advance.

There is no setup or monthly fee. Withdrawal network fees apply and are shown before you confirm.

Can I accept small underpayments automatically?

Yes. Set an underpayment tolerance in Settings; it applies to invoices created afterwards. The default is 0%, which means the exact amount is required.

You can also accept an individual underpaid invoice as paid from the dashboard (Invoices → Accept as paid).

How do withdrawals work?

Withdraw each coin to your own wallet from the dashboard. A withdrawal needs your two-factor code when two-factor authentication is enabled, and confirmation through a link sent to your email.

When you add a new withdrawal address, withdrawals to it are approved manually during a cooling period, 24 hours by default. Some other withdrawals, such as larger amounts, are also reviewed manually. The network fee is shown before you confirm.

I lost my authenticator app

Contact support from the email address on your account. We verify your identity separately before removing two-factor authentication. Recovery signs out all sessions and remembered devices, and withdrawals requested in the 48 hours after recovery need manual approval.

Why are some funds held?

Payments from high-risk sources can be held for review before they are credited. While a payment is held, the invoice stays pending and the store is not notified that it is paid. When the review clears, the payment is credited as usual.

For developers

Integration guides and references.

Where is the API documentation?

The developer documentation covers authentication, creating and reading invoices, webhooks, site verification and test mode.

How do I connect a hosted panel or another platform?

Most platforms need an API key and a webhook secret from your dashboard. The platforms guide explains what to enter and where.

Is there a WooCommerce plugin?

Yes. The documentation explains how to install and configure it.

How do I confirm a payment on my server?

Verify the signed webhook against the raw request body and fulfil the order only for PAID or OVERPAID. A buyer reaching your success page is not proof of payment.

Service status

Checking whether payments are flowing normally.

Is there a status page?

There is no public status page yet. You can check each invoice and its confirmations in your dashboard, and the checkout page refreshes the payment status by itself.

If something looks wrong, contact support through the contact form or at support@coinavio.com, and include the invoice ID.
