1. Scope

This policy applies to every merchant account and to everything sold or paid for through CoinAvio. It forms part of the Terms of Service. If you are unsure whether your business fits, email support@coinavio.com before you apply.

2. Businesses we support

We welcome lawful online businesses, including:

  • SMM panels and social media marketing services;
  • software, SaaS, apps and developer tools;
  • hosting, VPS, domains and other infrastructure services;
  • digital goods and online services;
  • online stores selling lawful physical goods;
  • agencies, freelancers and professional services.

3. Prohibited businesses and activities

You may not use CoinAvio for:

  • anything illegal where you or your buyers are located;
  • illegal drugs and controlled substances sold without the required authorisation;
  • weapons, ammunition, explosives and their parts, where their sale is unlawful or unlicensed;
  • child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities, and any content that sexualises minors or involves non-consensual acts;
  • human trafficking, exploitation or violent extremism;
  • fraud, scams, phishing, fake investments, Ponzi or pyramid schemes, and offers that promise guaranteed returns;
  • stolen data, stolen accounts or payment cards, hacking services, malware, and services designed to break into or disrupt systems;
  • counterfeit goods and goods or content that infringe intellectual property rights;
  • money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions evasion;
  • mixers, tumblers and other services designed to hide the origin or destination of funds;
  • financial services that require a licence you do not hold, such as money transmission, currency exchange, lending, deposit taking or investment management.

4. Businesses that need prior approval

Some businesses are allowed only after a specific review, and only where they hold any licence required where they operate and where their buyers are. Tell us about them in your application:

  • gambling, betting, lotteries and games of chance with cash prizes;
  • adult content and services, which must be lawful and limited to verified adults;
  • crypto-asset exchange, OTC and other financial or investment services;
  • reselling payment services, or accepting payments on behalf of other businesses.

5. Prohibited use of the Service

  • Misleading buyers about what they are buying, its price or who is selling it.
  • Using your account for a business other than the one we approved, or letting others use it.
  • Splitting payments or creating multiple accounts to avoid limits, reviews or screening.
  • Paying your own invoices to move funds through CoinAvio without a genuine sale.
  • Interfering with the Service, overloading it, or testing its security without our permission.
  • Presenting CoinAvio as the seller, or implying that we endorse your products.

6. Sanctions and restricted jurisdictions

You may not use the Service if you, your business or its owners are on United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom or United States sanctions lists, act for anyone who is, or are located in a jurisdiction where providing the Service is prohibited. You may not use CoinAvio to sell to such persons or to help anyone avoid sanctions. See the AML & Compliance Policy.

7. What happens if this policy is broken

Depending on the seriousness of the breach, we may:

  • ask for information or changes to your website or products;
  • refuse an application, or limit the invoices or withdrawals on an account;
  • hold funds for review;
  • suspend or close the account;
  • report the activity to the authorities where the law requires or permits it.

Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it. Funds are handled as described in the Terms of Service.

8. Reporting misuse

If you believe a merchant is using CoinAvio in breach of this policy, email support@coinavio.com or use the contact form, with the website and any invoice IDs involved.
